                                    Overview: 

                                    This course is for those who currently hold a Security Guard Weapons Licence in Queensland.

                                    A requirement of this licence is to complete re-certification training every 12 months to renew the licence and remain current with skills and industry requirements.

                                    This course covers all the skills and knowledge required to use a firearm in the security industry. 

                                    Pre-requisites: 

                                    Participants are required to hold a current Queensland Weapons Licence (Security Licence Guard – Employee).

                                    Participants must have sufficient skills to read, write and communicate in English, and have access to a computer with internet access and Microsoft Word. Mobile phones and tablets cannot be used to complete the online training component of this course.

                                    Licence & Regulatory Requirements:

                                    All Weapon Licences are administered by Queensland Police – Weapons Licencing. Additional yearly renewal fees do apply.

                                    If you do not currently hold a Queensland Security Guard Weapons Licence, enrol in the Security Guard Weapons Licence course.

                                    On successful completion participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment with the following unit:

                                    CPPSEC3114 Control security risk situations using firearms

                                    Online/self-paced training + ½ day range shoot

                                    $225
