Cash In Transit (QLD Class 1 Licence)

Overview: 

This course is for participants in the security industry wishing to add Cash In Transit function to their Queensland Security Class 1 Licence. A cash transit security officer carries cash, bullion, jewellery or valuables. This course covers the skills and knowledge required to work effectively as a Cash In Transit Security Officer – this may include low risk unarmed duties or armed duties.

Pre-requisites: 

There are no pre-requisites under the training package, however due to licensing requirements participants are required to hold a current Queensland Security Licence or completed a Certificate II or III in Security Operations.

Licence & Regulatory Requirements:

 All Queensland Security Licenses are administered by Office of Fair Trading. All participants are encouraged to read through the requirements of a Queensland Security License application, as there is additional requirements & fee’s payable to Office of Fair Trading. e.g. Must be over the age of 18, must be a fit and proper person, cannot have had any disqualifying offences under the criminal code in the last 10 years.

On successful completion participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment with the following units:

CPPSEC3050A Load and Unload Cash-in-transit in an Unsecured Environment
CPPSEC3051A Implement Cash-in-transit Security Procedures
CPPSEC3052A Inspect and Test Cash-in-transit Security Equipment

1 day Classroom

Classroom: $150

Fees include all assessments and resources required in the classroom

Recognition of prior learning (RPL): $150
