Provide First Aid and CPR Course

This Provide First Aid training course is the minimum requirement under the Workplace Health and Safety Legislation for a workplace first aider to obtain their first aid certificate. However, all persons are encouraged to complete a Provide First Aid course, regardless of their work requirements, as it could help you save a life!
Provide First Aid training gives you the basic skills and knowledge to assist in any emergency situation until further help arrives. You will be trained by qualified trainers and partake in practical training to learn what to do for different emergencies and become a certified first aider.
This CPR & First Aid course is suitable for students who are new to First Aid, as well as those who have previously completed First Aid training and need a refresher course.
This course includes CPR training (HLTAID009).
On successful completion, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment with the following units:
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
The training package for this course requires participants to perform at least 2 minutes (5 cycles) of CPR on adult and infant resuscitation manikins positioned on the floor.
Licence & Regulatory Requirements
It is recommended by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) that HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is completed every 3 years to remain current with the ARC guidelines.
It is recommended by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) that HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation is completed every 12 months to remain current with the ARC guidelines.

Public Bookings
Pre-course work:
Online/self-paced training (approximately 3-5 hours depending on the individual student and their personal circumstances and other commitments). This online training involves reading interactive modules and then using this information to complete a final exam. Online training must be completed prior to the face-to-face training.
Face-to-face work:
3.5 hours face-to-face (approximately) your trainer will deliver practical training.

Option 2: 1 day (8 hours) fully face-to-face.
