Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation | CPR Course

On successful completion, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment with the following unit:

• HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

This unit is nationally recognised and meets the training requirements outlined by industry standards. It certifies that the participant is competent in delivering effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in emergency situations.

This certification is valid for a 12 month period, after which a refresher course is recommended to ensure skills and knowledge remain current and aligned with the latest guidelines.

To meet the assessment requirements for this course, participants must demonstrate their ability to perform a minimum of 2 minutes (5 cycles) of CPR on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor.

Licence & Regulatory Requirements

It is recommended by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) that HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation is completed every 12 months to remain current with the ARC guidelines.
