Cash In Transit (QLD Class 1 Licence) – $195
Overview:
This course is for participants in the security industry wishing to add Cash In Transit function to their Queensland Security Class 1 licence. A cash transit security officer carries cash, bullion, jewellery or valuables. This course covers the skills and knowledge required to work effectively as a Cash In Transit Security Officer. This may include low risk unarmed duties or armed duties.
Please note students will be required to get their Security Guard Weapons Licence to perform armed duties.
Pre-requisites:
Due to Queensland licencing requirements participants are required to have completed the CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations qualification.
Licence & Regulatory Requirements:
All Queensland Security Licences are administered by Office of Fair Trading. All participants are encouraged to read through the requirements of a Queensland Security License application, as there is additional requirements & fee’s payable to Office of Fair Trading. For example, participants must be over the age of 18, must be a fit and proper person, cannot have had any disqualifying offences under the criminal code in the last 10 years.

On successful completion participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment with the following units:
CPPSEC3118 Inspect and test cash-in-transit security equipment & rectify faults
CPPSEC3119 Implement cash-in-transit security procedures
CPPSEC3120 Load and unload cash-in-transit in secured and unsecured environments
1 day face-to-face classroom
Classroom: $195
Fees include all assessments and resources required in the classroom.
