Overview: 

This course is for those that hold a current Crowd Controller/Bodyguard Queensland Security Licence. Those that hold this licence are required to stay up to date with the latest industry legislation, standards and techniques. Revalidation training is required to be completed every 3 years.

Pre-requisites: 

Participants must hold a current Queensland Security Licence with Crowd Control/Bodyguard function. Participants must be physically fit, and able to perform defensive tactics. Participants must have sufficient skills to read, write and communicate in English.

Licence & Regulatory Requirements: 

All Queensland Security Licenses are administered by Office of Fair Trading. All participants are encouraged to read through the requirements of a Queensland Security License application, as there is additional requirements & fee’s payable to Office of Fair Trading. For example, participants must be over the age of 18, must be a fit and proper person, cannot have had any disqualifying offences under the criminal code in the last 10 years.

If you require your Provide First Aid, enrol in Crowd Control Refresher (3 units).

On successful completion participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment with the following units:

CPPSEC3101 Manage conflict and security risks through negotiation
CPPSEC3121 Control persons using empty hand techniques

1 day in classroom. Your trainer will deliver activities, case scenarios and practicals before you complete closed book exams.

Fees include all assessments and resources required in the classroom.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Due to licensing requirements RPL is not offered for this statement of attainment.
