The Queensland Government’s Certificate 3 Guarantee supports eligible students in completing their first post-school certificate course, essential entry-level qualifications for various industries.
This funding scheme reduces your upfront costs, so that you can obtain a post-school qualification for less & improve your future job prospects.
As an approved RTO provider by the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training, the Australian Training Institute offers subsidised Certificate 3 Guarantee courses to prepare you for a successful career.
Pricing
The Queensland Government subsidises a portion of the cost of undertaking an approved qualification,
meaning all learners must co-contribute a fee, starting at just $13.

Check Your Eligibility
Cert 3 Guarantee Eligibility Check
To be eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee students must:
- Be a Queensland resident
- Be aged 15 years or over, and no longer at school (with the exception of VET in Schools students)
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency
- Not hold, or be enrolled in, a certificate III level or higher qualification (not including qualifications completed at school and foundations skills training)
Eligibility for Concessional Payments
Concessional students under the Cert 3 Guarantee program include those who:
- Hold a Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card (or are dependents)
- Are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
- School students enrolled in a VETiS program;
- Students with a disability; or
- Students who are adult prisoners
