Work Safely at Heights

RIIWHS204E
Cost $199

This nationally accredited training course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to work safely at heights on construction sites—specifically where tasks are performed 2 metres or more above ground level, and fall restraint measures are necessary.

Participants will apply their learning in a simulated environment, including access to a roof structure for completing the practical assessment.

This course is ideal for those seeking employment or upskilling in the construction, resources, or infrastructure sectors, where height safety certification is a key requirement.

It’s important to note that even where work is conducted below 2 metres, appropriate risk controls may still be required, based on the level of risk identified in your assessment.

Related course: Height Safety Equipment Inspection

  • RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights

Participants must be physically fit and able to do practical demonstrations on a simulated rooftop.

Participants also must have basic computer skills and access to a reliable computer with internet and email access.
