Manual Handling/Manual Tasks for Workers

This manual handling online course is designed for workers who are required to undertake manual handling tasks in their day-to-day work. Manual handling that involves lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, moving, holding, restraining, or carrying.
This course will cover the following topics:
- Types of hazardous manual tasks.
- The risks associated with hazardous manual tasks.
- How to perform a manual handling risk assessment.
- Ways of reducing the risk of injury/implementing control measures.
- Techniques for performing manual and handling tasks safely.
This is a non-accredited manual handling certificate online, if you are after accredited manual handling training, please enrol in our accredited HLTWHS005 Conduct manual tasks safely course.
This course is a Non-Accredited Course.
Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion for their Manual Handling training.
Participants must have basic computer skills and access to a reliable computer with internet and email access.
Licence & Regulatory Requirements
There are no specific licensing or regulatory requirements for enrolling in or completing this course.
The Statement of Completion issued for this course does not expire. While there are no formal refresher requirements attached to this unit, some employers or workplacesmay require workers to undertake refresher training periodically to maintain workplace competency and meet organisational requirements. Learners should check with their employer regarding any workplace-specific requirements.
Australian Training Institute does not offer a separate refresher version of this course.
