Our nationally recognised Fire Warden training program provides staff with the skills and knowledge to respond to workplace emergencies and lead safe evacuations. From fires and chemical spills to bomb threats, this comprehensive fire warden course prepares participants to act confidently in high-pressure situations.

This training also includes accredited fire extinguisher training, meeting fire extinguisher requirements in QLD.

Course Overview
This Fire Warden training Brisbane session is ideal for workplaces that need trained Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) personnel. Regular fire warden training ensures your team is ready to manage emergencies and comply with fire warden training requirements under Queensland law.

Participants will gain both theory and hands-on experience in managing emergency situations and using fire-fighting equipment.

Practical Experience

There are no specific prerequisite requirements for enrolling in or completing this course.

Licence & Regulatory Requirements

Fire extinguisher refresher training is required every two years to stay up to date with legislation, in accordance with:

While Fire Warden training (and the unit of competency) does not have a formal expiry, both the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 (QLD) and Australian Standard AS 3745-2010 recommend refresher training at least every two years.

This course is also suitable for use in jurisdictions outside Queensland, such as New South Wales. For specific requirements for your jurisdiction, please consult the relevant legislation and regulatory guidance from your jurisdiction.
