Fire Safety Advisor Refresher (Queensland) – $300

Fire Safety Advisor Refresher Brisbane (Queensland)
Overview:

Participants who have been appointed as a Fire Safety Advisor are required to complete refresher training every 3 years. As of 1 July 2009, under the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008, all high occupancy buildings are legally required to appoint a Fire Safety Advisor. This training provides participants with the skills and knowledge to carry out the duties of the Fire Safety Advisor, such as developing risk management strategies and advising on emergency planning processes.

Completion of this course not only satisfies the training requirements for the ‘Fire Safety Advisor’ role under the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008, but meets the national qualifications in emergency prevention, workplace evacuation and the initial response training required to deal with emergencies in the workplace.

Pre-requisites:

Participants are required to supply a current (within the last 3 years) Fire Safety Advisor Statement of Attainment upon enrolment.

Training must be completed prior to the expiry of your current qualification. You will not be issued with a statement of attainment for a refresher if your current qualification has expired.

Licence & Regulatory Requirements:

Due to industry standards this course is required to be completed every 3 years to stay up to date with the current legislation.
