Confined Space Entry – $199
Overview:
This nationally recognised confined space entry training course is suitable for participants who will be working in or around confined spaces in the resources and infrastructure industries.
Participants will gain the knowledge and skills to identify risks, review risk assessments and enter confined spaces in accordance with an issued work permit to conduct work under the relevant legislation and Australian Standards for confined spaces. Participants will complete practical training in a simulated environment using the appropriate PPE and equipment.
Please note that online training of confined spaces course must be completed prior to attending your practical session. You will receive the link to your online training upon enrolment in confined spaces course.
Pre-requisites:
Participants must have basic computer skills and access to a reliable computer with internet and email access. Mobile phones or tablets are not compatible with the online training portion of this course.
Licence & Regulatory Requirements:
It is industry recommendation that participants who obtain this competency complete recertification training every 2 years

On successful completion participants will be issued with a statement of attainment with the following units:
RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined space
MSMPER205 Enter confined space
MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit
MSMPER202 Observe permit work
This course is run as a blend of online/self-paced learning and face-to-face training.
Pre-course work:
Online/self-paced training (approximately 4-6 hours depending on the individual student and their personal circumstances and other commitments) this training involves reading, activities and exams. Online training must be completed prior to the face-to-face training.
Face-to-face work:
2 hours face-to-face (approximately) your trainer will deliver practical training.

Fees include all assessments and resources required in the classroom- students must provide their own closed in footwear and wear appropriate clothing.

Note for international students – we are not CRICOS registered, please check your visa requirements for enrolment. We cannot accept international students who are on a student visa if your visa specifies that you must study with a CRICOS provider.
