Confined Space Entry with Gas Testing and Permit Issuer Brisbane
Overview:

This nationally recognised confined space training course is suitable to those participants who will be working in or around confined spaces, issuing work permits and needing to operate gas detectors in the resources and infrastructure industries.

Participants will gain the knowledge and skills to identify risks, review risk assessments and enter confined spaces in accordance with an issued work permit as well as issuing work permits to conduct work under the relevant legislation and Australian Standards for confined spaces. Participants will complete practical training in a simulated environment using the appropriate PPE and equipment.

Please note that online confined space training must be completed prior to attending your practical session. You will receive the link to your online training upon enrolment.

Pre-requisites: 

Participants must have basic computer skills and access to a reliable computer with internet and email access. Mobile phones or tablets are not compatible with the online training portion of this course.

Licence & Regulatory Requirements: 

It is a industry recommendation that participants who obtain this competencies complete recertification training every 2 years.

This course is run as a blend of online/self-paced learning and face-to-face training.

Pre-course work 
Online/self-paced training (approximately 6-8 hours depending on the individual student and their personal circumstances and other commitments) this training involves reading learner guides and using this knowledge to complete exams. Online training must be completed prior to the face-to-face training.

Face-to-face work:
4 hours face-to-face (approximately) your trainer will deliver practical training.

Group bookings – blended delivery or 2 days face-to-face.

Fees include all assessments and resources required in the classroom (and for pre-course online training). Students must provide their own closed in footwear and wear appropriate clothing.
