Start your career in construction with the nationally recognised White Card course.
This General Construction Induction Training—commonly known as the White Card Course (previously the Blue Card)—is essential for anyone working in the construction industry across Australia. The course delivers the skills and knowledge needed to understand and apply basic principles of Work Health and Safety (WHS), including legislative responsibilities, risk management, and the prevention of workplace injuries and illnesses.
If you plan to work on a construction site, completing this course is mandatory.
All Australian states and territories have adopted the National Code of Practice for Induction for Construction Work, developed by Safe Work Australia. This means White Cards issued in any state or territory are recognised nationwide, ensuring your qualification is portable and compliant regardless of where you work in Australia.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Queensland-issued White Card, sized to fit in a wallet and accepted across the country.
If you’re interested in becoming an assessor for the White Card unit of competency, you must first complete the CPCCWHS2001 Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry course, which enables you to assess learners for White Card eligibility.
On successful completion, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment with the following unit:
Participants will also receive a Queensland construction induction card (White Card), conveniently sized to fit in a wallet.
Students must provide us with 3 documents as Evidence of Identity (EOI) as per the list provided prior to undertaking the White Card training.
