RSA & RSG Combined

SITHFAB021 | SITHGAM022
Cost $49

This combined course is designed for participants seeking employment in the Queensland hospitality and gaming industries. It covers the requirements for the responsible service or sale of alcohol and gambling, making it applicable to a wide range of venues including hospitality establishments (restaurants, bars, clubs), retail liquor outlets, wineries, breweries, distilleries, and gaming venues (hotels, motels, pubs, casinos).

For the hospitality industry, this course ensures that participants gain the skills and knowledge needed to responsibly serve or sell alcohol, understand and meet legal obligations, identify and refuse service to individuals when necessary, and assist alcohol-affected customers. This is crucial for various roles such as managers, bartenders, glass collectors, floor staff, crowd controllers, security officers, and room service staff.

In the gaming industry, the course provides training on responsible gambling services, equipping participants with the ability to support customers who may be at risk of or are already experiencing harm from gambling. This is essential for roles including gaming and table gaming attendants, and multi-skilled food/beverage attendants.

Licensees of liquor-licensed and gaming venues are responsible for ensuring that all relevant staff have the necessary RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling) certifications.

If you wish to enrol in either the RSA or RSG course separately, please see the below links:
