The BSB50120 Diploma of Business (Leadership) is designed for individuals currently working in the business industry who may have substantial experience and are looking to formalise or broaden their skills with a strong focus on leadership. This specialisation equips participants with advanced knowledge across a range of business functions while developing their ability to lead teams, manage performance, and support strategic business outcomes.
This self-paced, online course is a nationally accredited qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and is available for enrolment to students across Australia, offering the flexibility to study anytime, anywhere while balancing learning with work and family commitments.

Students enrolling in the Diploma of Business must have assumed knowledge of standard business practices, either from completion of other relevant business qualifications (e.g. Certificate III or Certificate IV in Business) or from current or past experience in the business industry.
Participants must have basic computer skills and access to a reliable computer with internet, email access and access to Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel software. As some assessments require an audio/visual submission, participants must also be able to record themselves using a method where they can be seen and heard clearly (e.g. mobile phone, computer/laptop with webcam etc.).
Some assessments in this course will require the student to interact with other participants, where they will perform a specific role during the assessment. These participants can be co-workers, family or friends.

There are no specific licensing or regulatory requirements for enrolling in or completing this course.

Online Training with 12 months from date of enrolment to complete this course. We recommend 18-25 hours per week of study (depending on your individual skills and previous experience) to be on track for completion within 12 months.
You will have access to all your learning resources and assessments via your online portal and can start your online training as soon as you complete your online enrolment and successful payment for the course. Each new module becomes available after you submit your assessment of the previous one, giving students the opportunity to accelerate their learning by dedicating more than the recommended hours of study per week to this course to finish sooner than the 12-month timeframe.
Some Units of the Diploma will have a learner guide, whilst other units will have a study guide attached to it, which provides useful links as well as helpful eBooks/textbooks. Students are required to conduct their own research via these links in the study guide, the textbooks/ebooks (if you choose to purchase these) and search engines such as google to complete assessments.
