Chief Fire Warden

Our nationally recognised Chief Fire Warden training course is designed for persons who are required to perform the role of Chief or Deputy Chief Fire Warden at your workplace. Those in the role are required to make decisions about people’s safety during a workplace emergency and to give instructions prior order for responding to the emergency incident area. Participants will develop skills to ascertain the extent of onsite workplace emergencies and supervise evacuation of the workplace. Particular attention will be placed on meeting the requirements of Australian Standard 3745-2010 Emergency Control Organisation and procedures for buildings, structures and workplaces and how it applies to all workplaces.

Participants will have an understanding of emergency procedures and will undergo practical drills on controlling workplace emergencies. Practical scenarios will be completed which will simulate a workplace and the emergency evacuation equipment that is available. For group scenarios, Australian Training Institute can tailor this course to suit your workplace specific requirements and covers the following subjects:
