CPPSEC20212 Certificate II in Security Operations – 1AC Licence (Unarmed & Crowd Controller)

Description

This program is for those that wish to obtain NSW security license (Class 1AC Security Licence), with the Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED) of NSW Police who is responsible for the administration of NSW security licensing activities requires that the candidates must:

  • be 18 years of age or over.
  • be a fit and proper person to hold the class of licence sought;
  • have the relevant competencies and experience required;
  • have successfully completed the required training and assessment);
  • be competent to carry on the security activity to which the proposed licence relates;
  • be an Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent  Australian resident or hold a visa that entitles them  to work in Australia(other than a student or working  holiday visa); and obtain either a NSW Driver Licence or Photo or Customer Number from Roads & Maritime Services (RMS)

All potential students are required to read and sign NSW police P1016 declaration about Acknowledgement of Ground For Refusal of Security Licence (such as convictions, or finding of guilt, for certain declared offences and considerations such as whether person is fit and proper to hold security licence).

Bodyguard (1B Licence) – CPP30411 Certificate III in Security Operations

Description

This course will be offered to new entrants to the security industry who are seeking a role as a Body Guard, as well as existing security operatives and holders of NSW Security Licence 1AC and who wish to upgrade their skills in order to be eligible to apply for Body Guard security licence with the security industry regulator SLED.

Upon successful completion of the course candidates will be able to apply to SLED for their NSW 1B Security Licence.

PRE-REQUISITES:

Students must:

  • Meet prescribed Language, Literacy and Numeracy requirementsas per SLED requirement
  • Be a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen or have working rights in Australia.
  • 100 points of ID, Please refer to the download menu for the accepted documents
  • Provide us with a USI (Unique Student Identifier)
