This course will benefit participants wishing to become a workplace health and safety representative or involved in workplace health and safety committees. WHS Representatives represents the health and safety interests of a work group. This course is approved by the WHSQ, participants will gain the skills and knowledge to carry out tasks such as workplace inspections, investigate workplace health and safety concerns and issuing of provisional improvement notice (PINS) under the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations. Refresher training for Workplace health and safety representatives is every 12 months.
There are no pre-requisite units required to enrol into this course under the training package, however learners must provide a copy of 3 documents as EOI (evidence of identify) as per the list provided prior to undertaking the HSR training with us.
