CPP40707 Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management

Overview: 

This qualification suits those that are on management level and are responsible for security and risk management. The focus of the program is the development and monitoring of Security Risk Assessments (SRAs). Certificate IV is about doing threat, risk and asset assessments. Participants will gain a theoretical knowledge and understanding of the practical application of security risk assessment process. Course participants will gain further insight into security risk assessment requirements by participating in exercises and the practical application of knowledge and skills gained during the course.

Pre-requisites: 

There are no pre-requisites to gain entry into this course under the training package, however participants must have sufficient skills to read, write and communicate in English. Participants must also have basic computer skills and access to a reliable computer with internet and e-mail access.

This course is nationally recognised, however if you require the qualification for licencing purposes, we recommend you contact the licencing authority in your State, to see if the units /Qualification meet the licencing requirements.

Online/self-paced, the learner has 12 months to complete the qualification. This course could be completed with 25 – 30 hours of study per unit, depending on the individual learner and their personal circumstances and other commitments. Manuals for this course are hard copies and can be mailed or picked up from our head office in Sandgate.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL): $2000 – Additional fees will be charged for gap training (if required).
