Administer Oxygen in an Emergency Situation (PUAEME003C)

Overview: 

The purpose of the course is to provide the student with the skills and knowledge to appropriately administer oxygen therapy and/or oxygen resuscitation until the arrival of medical assistance. This unit covers competency in advanced techniques for management of the administration of oxygen and ventilation of the lungs in line with the requirements of the Australian Resuscitation Council and State and Territory regulatory bodies.

Pre-requisites: 

PUAEME001B Provide emergency care

Licence & Regulatory Requirements:

It is industry standard that those who hold this unit complete refresher training every 12 months.

On successful completion participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment with the following units:
